Word of CEO

“The leaders who work most effectively, it seems to me, never say ‘I’, and that’s not because they have trained themselves not to say ‘I’. They don’t think ‘I.’ They think ‘we’; they think ‘team.’ They realize their job which is to make the team idea officiated. They accept responsibility and don’t elude it, but ‘we’ gets the trust…. This is what makes the tasks done.”

We in ACG always believe that we are working in our group as a member of ACG’s big family, that family has rights and obligations toward us and we have the same toward our family, Which in return instilled inside us that the teamwork is heading towards the same shared vision, the ability to guide individual achievements towards the organization goals. It is the fuel that makes common people to attain legendary results.

On the other hand, as the consequences of the financial crisis continue to strike the international market, the traders and manufacturers are complaining of the slow motion of the market. Moreover the traders are telling stories about dealers who placed big orders, only to find the manufacturer and the customer terminated a week or two later, leaving them with inventory filled with unsold goods.

Running unhealthy business, without solid presence in the market and depending on unreliable suppliers; all these variables make it more and more difficult for the companies to make profits.

But we in ACG says that this current slowdown is a blessing in disguise, as it will demonstrate clearly how badly those unprofessional were running their businesses and placing the customer’s benefit in the bottom of their list. The market indicators is going high, and no companies can match up other than big, professional, and innovative companies like ACG.

Moreover Egyptian manufacturers are crying for any governmental support, their exports are in a total mess. But we believe that our sheer size makes us some kind obligated to take our part in this critical issue. This responsible spirit is our fuel to keep continuous search for new suppliers and the latest technologies to secure the state-of-art electrical products for the Egyptian manufacturers with the most suitable prices and payment terms. This is a very effective and practical solution which can effectively participate in the reform of the current recession.

Finally I want to borrow Dwight D. Eisenhower’s saying “Neither a wise man nor a brave man lies down on the tracks of history to wait for the train of the future to run over him”. We have translated this saying into actions, but we’d rather keep it confidential for the time being, but it won’t be far from being real to hear that an electric motors factory is added to Arab Commercial Group of companies.
